The Canary Islands Cetacean Research Center (CICC) has facilities and an administrative centre at the Casa de Los Arroyo, located on Avenida Coll Nº3, 35500 Arrecife, Lanzarote (Ground floor, first right). The CCIC collaborates with the Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve.
The activities of this centre are:
Carrying out studies and research projects on cetaceans present in the waters of the Canary Archipelago.
Promote the conservation of cetaceans and their habitat.
Promote the dissemination and knowledge of cetaceans.
The request for the means necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes, in addition to any question that may be of interest for the knowledge, conservation and promotion of cetaceans and the marine environment of the Canary Islands.
Reference unit for the Canary Islands Archipelago of cetaceans and the marine environment of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands and the National Administration.
